In May 10-11 2017, Global Denim® will go back to show its latest innovations at Kingpins show in New York City. The show will take place once again at Basketball city, at Pier 3 , 299 South Street.
This season Global carries on its Create theme; based on the concept of creation, innovation and creativity, bringing its season less way of mind back, featuring best selling products as well as new developments and constructions.
In February the Global Denim® team had the opportunity and pleasure on receiving Christopher Bloomquist, USA correspondent, editor and writer of the famous and important industry magazine Sportswear International.
Following a very successful and warm visit, in which Christopher joined us on a visit to our Mill in Puebla, and after a series of interviews he made to our team and CEOs, he wrote an article in the magazine were he expresses his experience and great time he had with us. Denim Premier Vision is the leading show of Denim across Europe, were the most famous, powerful and big players of the Denim industry worldwide participate. Global Denim will proudly be the first Mexican Company to join and present its collection at this great event, and we are sure its going to be a great success, and adventure and a step forward in our long way to go in the European market.

Yesterday we had the opportunity to witness the ending of a big project in collaboration with the clothing Brand Cuidado con el Perro, and the Iberoamericana University.
This project, in which students from the fashion design major of the University worked the entire semester in, finished yesterday with a big Runway show titled “Denim on Denim”
We are very happy to inform that it was a big success. Great talent was shown in between the students, and some promising designers began to rise. This for sure represents a bright future for the Denim design in our country.

Because we care of our society and our people, and most important the future generations and education, we partnered up with the Fashion Department at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, to teach the students about denim and share our big passion for it.
For the entire semester, students were introduced to the concept of denim in a way they have never seen or experienced before; we taught them about the process of creating the fabric, and brought them to have hands on experience at the mill, to learn about the dry and wet process as well as the finishing and explained to them the entire supply chain.
We also partnered up with Mexican brand “Cuidado con el Perro®” which aims at a much hip, edgy and younger market.
The project, which will conclude tomorrow in a runway show will include the final work of each of the 34 students on the program. It will have two categories; “Street Style” and “Total Creativity”.
“Street Style”; will aim the Cuidado con el Perro® market, and “Total Creativity” is looking for the students to use their creativity in transforming denim in a way they are not used to, to create high fashion garments and use new finishing techniques.
Everything was created with different types of Global Denim´s® fabric, students used fabrics with all kinds of constructions, and played with different weights.

Coming this December 7-8 on 530 Broadway, SOHO, New York City, Global Denim will make its first appearance and Prime, the new premium brand from Global denim will make its comeback on the Blueprint Expo 4.0.
